Book & Brew Night

A few of us here are from the "Book It" generation and miss the years of reading & being rewarded with pizza. In the hopes of getting a fun community night going, we are partnering with our friends at Sherman's Books & Stationery to get reading & some good conversation over a beer going.

Our first book is Ruth Reichl's (restaurant critic for the New York Times, Editor of Gourmet) memoir "Save Me the Plums." This book chronicles Reichl's tenure at Gourmet, and the rise of the farm-to-table movement.

We'll be posting some questions to consider, and hope you'll join us Monday May 20th for a beer and a discussion about the book. Mention the club and receive 25% off your purchase at Sherman's Books & Stationery in Freeport.
